The level of our success is determined by our ability to work in the following fashion:

1. We follow a documented and familiar PROCESS. We should always know what we want. In those situations where we are uncertain of what we want – we work actively with finding out what we want. Without this process we risk becoming a victim of outer/ inner circumstances while our actions/ execution becomes ad hoc and/ or unstructured causing loss of focus, control, time, resources and money.

2. Clear BUSINESS GOALS. Once we initiate any form of dialogue with individual entrepreneurs/ owners/ inventors and/ or organisations we have clear goals.

3. SINGLE MINDED FOCUS. The above demands active input, initiative and command regardless of the (large or small) type of case we are addressing. We respect – but are not over impressed – by our counterparts. We strive to plan one step ahead.

Enthusiasm

We have the necessary ingredients to assist creators of dreams and ideas. We are inspiration in projects and assignments.

We are thrilled by the largest challenges. We enjoy when our forces and abilities are used to make a difference and accomplish things. We encourage others by being energetic and strong, and by recognising their special qualities and uniqueness. We inspire ourselves by keeping an eye open for the possibilities that are hidden in every situation.

We are devoted and loving without being sticky, engaged although autonomous, thereby keeping things in their right perspective.

We are who we are, free from others design. We honour the symphony of personalities that surround us. They bring out the riches of life, unbiased by our own wishes. We aspire to work without prejudice and keep a broad perspective, open for new angles and viewpoints.

Change

We believe in experiencing and utilising the power of change. Life is too short to do the same things again and again. Constants are family, friends, fitness, fairness, freedom and frivolousness.

Resource disposability & utilisation

To use the combined accumulated knowledge, experiences, mistakes(!) and networks. The need for resources often comes in “waves” and leaps . Progress and need for evolution is not linear. Technology also develops in jumps. Many organisations dislike change. Obama had maybe been less interested in ”change" if USA had not been in such a financial difficult situation. We have probably experienced more change that most.

Cultural

A mix of culture is often a requirement for breeding and nourishing need ideas and applications for old ideas.

Timing

The above values, combined with the beginning of a new economic cycle, creates the perfect scenario for new business development.

Values

Money isn’t everything. We do not wish to associate with immoral, criminal or dubious transactions, individual as we have a long term approach to business. We do not sell our souls.  

Working hours

We have all worked long enough to know the capacity of our and others limits. We do not believe quantity breaks people – it is lack of quality. We are prepared to devote ample time towards the ventures in which we participate – it gives us a buzz. We expect all participants to give their utmost according to the plans set.

We have a home environment that can withstand this sort of pressure.

Common values

Creating common businesses can be very giving and difficult. We are not necessarily handcuffed to each other, but we should sit in the same boat heading in the same direction.

The “social dimension” is one factor of working in a team. The second factor is business related. A correct mix of competence and drive can achieve extreme high goals. A model needs to give team members the possibilities to nourish their private situation and individual goals, at the same time that common goals and rules secure the company’s possibility to move forwards, even in the situation where a team member desires to quit or participate less operational in periods.

Valuations

The past recession has created larger spreads between sellers and buyers. During 2009 and until today there seems to have formed a "valuation gap" between entrepreneurs and investors. Many entrepreneurs are expecting high valuations, without thorough business plans, concepts or management. There is a genuine interest from investors, but a number of obvious milestones that need to be achieved before investors (VCs) can invest.
